August in Sevilla is buzzing and burning. People drink coffee with ice, wine with ice and eat ice cream. The terraces are empty during the day and so are the streets, except for the humming of the air-conditioners. The evenings are for strolls around town, wine & tapas, the weekends for trips to the beach, where it is 10+ degrees cooler: bliss.
