Agosto: Sara & Nico: Adventures in Sevilla

Madrid, Alaska and I have a little photo session

Waking up :: Rosa also speaks Spanish, here with Alex and me in García, Madrid

In Sevilla, the cat brothers in Nicte & Joshua's wonderful house -under- construction.

They are the laziest, sweetest cats :: the interior patio

Waking up with Sara, a surprise visit. Morning yoga

All spiritual cures :: Nicte in her street

Drawing & writing in the burning shade.
Every ten minutes we would walk through the square's water spray system to cool off.

ice coffee

A immense building arose in the city center. It has an official name, but everybody calls it 'the mushroom'. It is so overwhelming that I'm not even sure whether I like it or not.

Sara on the Seta

with Carlos :: On his terrace

Snacks and drinks around town.

The weekend Sara was here, we went to a national park near the coast.

Getting there was a bit of an undertaking. First of all a hike in the heat...

but it was so worth it. A perfect day at an almost empty beach.

On our way back while the sun was setting.

All very relaxed.

Jelly fish :: A climb and another hike.

Sara & el rumbo de las olas.

Sleeping in the park was far from ideal, but definitely an adventure :: Sara took my camera and investigated the animal tracks.

Our natural accommodation.

Undefined tracks.

Sara dreaming of saints :: Visiting
Madonna of El Rocío, in La Ermita de El Rocio,

which was innocently quiet, while on Pentecoste Sunday it looks like this:

Warming up in the early sun :: Simple and splendid Spanish breakfast

The gate to the castle a.k.a Calle 13 concert venue :: First, some tapas

We were quite excited!

Preparing for the night out

Sun setting :: Beach hair

A bit of red for the special occasion.

And dance, dance, dance!

Alegria!

Calle 13 from Puerto Rico, playing in Cadiz,a symbolic choice because of the Latin America Summit this year. A
lso, Cadiz celebrates two hundred years since the proclamation of the Constitution of Cadiz, a date that will make it the Latin American Capital of Culture :: Street in Sevilla, The Spanish Institute of Thorough Evangelization. There you go.
