Fiestas, Minor Incidents & an Orange Curtain

Like anywhere else, Christmas in Hoorn means plenty of decoration and chocolate

This year with a special liqueur: Akkefietje, meaning minor incident. Possibly linked to Aqua Vitae.
There was food and board games,

gifts and car rides to see family,

anyway,

you get the idea._

For New Years I visited Brussels, the city was surprisingly cheerful upon arriving. The curtain of the old year almost closing, the new: an impatient promise.

Then my camera broke, erasing various photos and playing around with others.

Walking in Brussels, enjoying second hand bookstores and small cafés.

__New strangers

and new words

You had minor incidents, I been reading "Minor Characters" by Joyce Johnson, Jack Kerouac´s lover when he got famous, well worth the read if you get your eyes on it... happy new year beauty!
